Mare, Leiden University’s weekly newspaper

Mare, the University’s weekly newspaper, contains both information and editorials. Mare publishes news about developments within the University and in the fields of higher education and academic research.

The Editorial Board, staffed by professional journalists, is independent. The Board’s work is subject to minor review by the Editorial Council, that is made up of representatives of the University community. The objectives of the publication are set out in the Editorial Statute.
