Examination Appeals Board (CBE)

Examination Appeals Board (CBE)

You can appeal to this independent Board within six weeks after the decision date against decisions regarding the following:

  • Negative Binding Study Recommendation (BSA)

  • Enrolment in a programme, an examination or final examination

  • Decisions made by the Board of Examiners and the examiners (exemptions, assessments, plagiarism and fraud).

You can also first submit your problem to the ombudsperson. He or she can try to help you find a more informal solution. Do remember the term of appeal, though!

For more information on procedure and jurisprudence, see the website of the Examination Appeals Board.

You can appeal to the Higher Education Appeals Board (CBHO) in The Hague against a decision by the CBE.
